Northeast Catering

The Northeast Catering Program prepares and delivers nutritional meals to Title III Senior Centers and Nutrition Sites in five counties, Head Stat Classrooms, Adult Daycare Centers, as well as meals for local activities and events. Meals are delivered to the five Senior Centers and three Nutrition Sites meet the specifications set forth in the "Meal Standards for the Older American Act" published by the Cabinet for Human Resources, Division of Aging Services. Meals prepared for the Northeast Head Start classrooms meet the guidelines established by the Child and Adult Care Food Program and Head Start Performance standards.

Northeast Catering Program provides a hot nutritious meal to senior citizens and Head Start children, who in some cases would not have the resources to have a hot meal everyday. In addition to our meal services, the Senior Citizen Centers, which are operated by another agency, provides a place for socialization and fun activities for our senior citizens.
